Sire: ROSENTAU is a son of the famous
RUBENSTEIN, who has supplied many top
dressage horses for the sport, and is still
one of the leading sires in Germany. ROSENTAU
is coming more and more into the spotlight of
the Hanoverian breeding scene. He achieved
the highest scores at his performance test
and has already produced a top rated young
stallion, ROBESPIERRE, for the Celle stud.
ROSENTAU is continuously represented at the
Verden auction, with high selling, excellent
riding horses, and is producing outstanding
broodmares as well.
Dam: DONNERSTAR is a foal futurity
winner by DONNER BUBE (Oldenberg) and out of
SALTY, one of the first Canadian Warmblood
mares to gain Elite status. SALTY, an
untraceable Thoroughbred, consistently
produced athletes in jumping and eventing.
Few stallions have the strength of pedigree
that DONNER BUBE possesses, and few have that
strength while being current in today’s
competitions. DONNER BUBE’s sire, DONERHALL,
was the #2 sire of dressage horses in 2008
while the #1 sire of dressage horses descends
from DONNER BUBE’s third dam. In addition,
sons of DONNERHALL populate the list of top
dressage sires, many of them displaying the
same cross (DONNERHALL/PIK BUBE I) as DONNER
BUBE. He won his stallion test in
Switzerland, scored the highest in
rideability of 164 horses, and has been
approved by the Oldenberg Verband, Canadian
Warmblood and Canadian Sport Horse
registries.
Notes: ROSY FUTURE is a pretty young
mare who offers a combination of well known
and highly successful dressage bloodlines.
She is also the half-sister (same dam) to one
of the high-selling mares at the 2009 Alberta
Invitational Sale. ROSY is intelligent and
learns quickly, making her a real joy to
train. Teach her something, and she retains
it, saving the hassle of repeating the
lessons over and over.
