Whitney
(Wilton
– Afternoon
Delight)
This 2009 filly is by a performance test
winner and out of a Premium mare, meaning she has quality on
both sides of her pedigree.
Her sire, a Hanoverian approved Dutch
Warmblood, traces to the big names in Dutch breeding, Voltaire
and Nimmerdor, as well as successful sport lines of Trakehner
and Thoroughbred descent. Aside from winning his performance
test, he also scored very well in jumping technique.
His dam combines Donner Bube (competitive
jumper and dressage horse with a world class dressage pedigree)
with Wodan (international jumper) and Salty (elite mare of
Thoroughbred ancestry), a very successful cross for the
breeders.
She has the
conformation to succeed in several disciplines and
has what it takes to get you noticed.
Owner’s comment:
“She learns quickly, has great presence and
has a great topline.”
Trainer's Perspective:
Whitney – She is a
yearling filly that loves to play.
She’s very curious and has lots of potential.
Whitney is a bit shy but warms up to new things quickly.
She can be caught, led, tied and stands well for
grooming.
