Loredo II
(Lord
Cromby
xx –
Daffodil)
This 2008 gelding combines proven sport
blood in all the English disciplines on both sides of his
pedigree. He is a full brother to
Larkin from Sale
One.
From his sire’s side he gets the refining
and sport influences of Secretariat, Sir Gaylord, Habitat, His
Majesty, Ribot, Turn-To, Tom Rolfe, Hail To Reason, etc. the
linebreeding in his pedigree is also desirable. Naturally, as a
well-bred Thoroughbred, he is related to numerous eventers, but
his ancestry also relates him to jumpers, hunters and dressage
horses.
From his dam’s side he gets superior
dressage influences through
Donner Bube and he gets the jumping influences through
Calvados, a Selle Francais stallion used very successfully in
Dutch breeding.
His
conformation
is that of an amateur dressage horse.
Owner’s comment:
“He’s a good looking colt with very nice
manners.”
Trainer's Perspective:
Loredo – This 2-year-old
gelding has lots of energy, learns fast and has lots of
potential. He is
super friendly and loves attention.
He can be caught, led, tied, groomed, tacked up and is
starting to learn to lunge.
He is also good for the farrier.
