Dr Have Ya Heard
(Donner
Bube –
Rumor Has It)
Don’t let the 15.3-hand size of this 2001
mare fool you; she packs a big pedigree. She would make a great
competition horse for a junior or an amateur and would be a
welcome addition to any sport horse breeding program.
Her pedigree shows a proven blend through
Donner Bube’s female family and Rumor Has It’s sire line. The
cross is found in top dressage horses, Olympic Cocktail, Plaisir
d’Amour and Fledermaus plus the international jumpers Stealth
Sprenger, Viktor, Lisa and Judgement.
She has the
conformation
to be the versatile mount she is. She was previously ridden
as if she were a Quarter Horse, and, to her credit, she did as
she was asked. Now that she is being asked to perform as a
warmblood again, she is making the transition readily.
Trainer’s perspective:
She is very energetic, friendly, alert and
curious. ‘Rumour’
ties and stands well for grooming, trimming, tacking up, bathing
and is excellent for the farrier.
She also lunges very well in both directions.
She has competed in pony club and in hunters by a
12-year-old girl, does lead changes, and is well schooled.
