Don Remarko
(Donner
Bube –
Highland
Fling)
Sire: DONNER
BUBE is an imported Oldenburg. His sire, DONNERHALL, was a
top dressage competitor, winning medals in world and European
championships, horse of the year honours and acclaim as a sire.
His sons have won Oldenburg stallion performance tests and
Federal Riding Horse championships, while his daughters have won
championships at the Elite Mare Show as well as Federal Riding
Horse championships. The DONNERHALL offspring have often been
the high sellers at auction. DONNER BUBE’s dam line is just as
strong as his sire line. PIK BUBE I is a top sire of jumpers,
dressage mounts, approved sons and Main Studbook mares.
GRUNDSTEIN I has sired jumpers and dressage mounts, as well as
numerous approved sons. DONNER BUBE's offspring, from a wide
variety of mares, have shown their talents in dressage, jumping,
eventing, hunters and combined driving. Many have won
championships and all seem to inherit his excellent paces,
intelligence, rideability and work ethic. In addition, his
impeccable pedigree is current.
Dam: HIGHLAND
FLING's sire, the Hanoverian WODAN, was an international
jumper, and he shares ancestors with dressage competitors,
eventers and show jumpers at the Olympic level. Her dam, SALTY,
was an untraceable Thoroughbred that gained Elite status in the
Canadian Warmblood registry and produced a list of sport
performers that includes successful jumpers and eventers.
Notes: DON
REMARKO was bred to be a performance horse and he certainly
lives up to "tall, dark and handsome". Horses on both sides of
his pedigree have proven their trainability and their abilities
in the show ring. DON REMARKO was started in the winter and all
reports indicate that he is a willing, straight forward mount
with a huge stride and great work ethic. He is an athletic
individual, able to maintain a balanced canter on a 20 metre
circle after only two months work. His training is progressing
and by sale time he will have been to some small horse shows
