Daybreak Dancer
(Donner
Bube –
Highland Fling)
This 2008 gelding was bred to be a
performance horse. Horses on both sides of his pedigree have
proven their trainability and their abilities in the show ring.
The Donner Bube offspring, from a wide
variety of mares, have shown their talents in dressage, jumping,
eventing and the hunter ring. Many have won championships and
all seem to inherit his excellent paces, intelligence and
rideability.
Highland Fling’s sire, the Hanoverian Wodan,
was an international jumper, and he shares ancestors with
dressage competitors, eventers and showjumpers at the Olympic
level. Her dam, Salty, was an untraceable Thoroughbred that
gained Elite status in the Canadian Warmblood registry and
produced a list of sport performers that includes successful
jumpers and eventers.
He has the
conformation to do well over fences.
Trainers Perspective:
Daybreak Dancer is a young gelding that
loves attention. He is easy to catch, lead, groom, tie and
stands well for the farrier. Daybreak Dancer is always
alert and loves to play
