This 2008 gelding is a blend of athletes on both sides of his pedigree. In fact, both of his parents have produced champions.

His sire’s lines, although dominant in dressage, are not devoid of jumping and eventing bloodlines. His dam’s lines, although highly slanted towards jumping are not devoid of strong eventing influences.

Like both his parents, he is intelligent and will be a joy to train. He is currently about 15.2 hands and will likely not mature early, but he should be worth the wait.

He has the conformation to excel as a competitive eventer or an amateur jumper. 

Trainer’s perspective:

Da Vinci II is very sweet, kind and loves attention.  He’s smart and is learning very fast.  He ties and stands well for grooming, trimming, farrier, and saddling.  He also lunges in both directions.
