Bella Coolah

(Wodan – Ella III)

This 1997 mare earned 1^st Premium status in the Canadian Warmblood registry and was 2^nd in the Provincial Mare Show in Alberta, scoring a perfect 10 for her walk.

Her Hanoverian sire, Wodan, was an international jumper but carries several influences for dressage.

Ella III, her predominantly Selle Francais dam, was one of the first mares to earn Elite status in the Canadian Warmblood registry. She was a foundation mare for D & R Ranching, producing Premium daughters that are continuing the family tradition.

She has produced a number of foals that have gone on to be competitors in jumping, eventing and Pony Club as well as broodmares. She is the dam of Donner Maybelle, who is also in this sale.

She is in foal to the Hanoverian jumper Perigueux.

She has enviable conformation for a broodmare and should continue to produce athletes.

Trainer's Perspective:

Bella Coolah – “Della” is super friendly and gentle.  She would be great around kids and has a terrific loving attitude.  She is very easy to catch, lead, tie, goom and tack up.  She stands great for the farrier, and for clipping and bathing.                     (Owner’s additional note – workers on our farms have been observed on a number of occasions riding her in bareback with a halter from the pasture!)
